Water & Stone
Falling water, worn rock and the shorelines where they meet. These photographs set what moves beside what endures, and the slow patience by which one shapes the other.
Thin threads of water fall the full height of the cliffs, through cloud and green, small against the stone they have been wearing away.
Then the scale draws in: a shelf of rock reaching into still water, and a single stone where the surf comes and goes.
A single waterfall, impossibly thin, falling behind a single cloud in an almost perfect vertical line. From a distance, it looked like a bolt of frozen lightning.
